Van Berkel Plant Transport was established in 1985 by Henk Van Berkel, who as a green-life supplier to Coles and Kmart, saw the need for a specialist plant carrier in Victoria.
Since then the company has gone through many transformations and is currently owned by Rodney and Dione Wintle. The 2000 square metre warehouse is based in Silvan, which is at the heart of the largest concentration of Victoria's wholesale nursery suppliers. The warehouse consists of twelve loading docks, has ample natural lighting as well as being equipped with internal watering systems.
The company has a fleet of eighteen purpose built trucks with insulated bodies, extended wheelbases and modified suspensions to ensure the safe delivery of our delicate freight.
Van Berkel Plant Transport services all Victorian country areas as well as the Riverina region of NSW in conjunction with our Metropolitan service. |
