Van Berkel Plant Transport depot and warehouse is located in Healesville in the heart of the Yarra Valley. Our natural light filled warehouse ensures your stock will be well managed whilst in our care.
Our truck access is great, we are ideally situated just 4 kilometers off Maroondah Hwy, just before the township of Healesville, with purpose built loading docks and forklifts, we have the ability to load and unload multiple trucks, at any one time.
Our fleet consists of fifteen purpose-built 5,7 and 9 tonne trucks and vans, all fitted with modified suspension (airbag), our van bodies specially made for the carriage of plants and are all fitted with hydraulic tailgate loaders.
We are acknowledged as leaders in the industry, for our care, methods, standards and our outstanding performance, reliability and service levels.
A LITTLE ABOUT US
Van Berkel Plant Transport was established in 1985 by Henk Van Berkel, who as a green-life supplier to Coles and Kmart, saw the need for a specialist plant carrier in Victoria.
Since then the company has gone through many transformations and is currently owned by Rodney Wintle. January 2015 the main warehouse was moved to Healesville which is at the heart of Victoria's Yarra Valley. The warehouse consists of multiple loading docks,it has ample natural lighting, a coolroom and is securely lockable as well as being equipped with internal watering system.
The company has a fleet of purpose built trucks and vans with insulated bodies, extended wheelbases and modified suspensions to ensure the safe delivery of our delicate freight.
Van Berkel Plant Transport services all Victorian country areas as well as the Riverina region of NSW in conjunction with our Metropolitan service.
